1 - Retained earnings are the earnings left over and kept by the company after paying all current obligations and expenses.including dividend payment to share holders.

2 - retained earnings represent the cumulative net income a company keeps after paying a dividend .

3 - A company's earning balance reflects its profitability history and capital allocation decision .

4 -  The company has surplus funds or profits ,at its disposal,

known as retained earnings .

5 - companies use retained earnings to fund expenses , reduce debt, repurchase shares or invest in new projects.

6 - Profits that the business keeps and saves over time instead of giving them out as cash or Dividend.
